Apache Deltacloud

Apache Deltacloud is made up of two main parts. The core and the client.

These two provides the ability to manage cloud computing accounts on one or more of these services at the same time from the same code within your application.

You can use Deltacloud to create your application, and then at any later point change the cloud computing service without having to edit more than a few lines of code.

If you ever worked with a database abstraction layer or an ORM then you'll get the general idea behind Deltacloud, only instead of a database you're connecting to a cloud service.
