Apache Lucene.NET closely follows the original Java version of Lucene, being a line-by-line port.
Currently, Apache Lucene.Net is compiled against the latest version of the Microsoft .NET Framework, version 4.5.x.
The binary version of the library can also easily be incorporated into applications using the NuGet Package Manager.
