Apache Neethi provides a quick tool for supporting WS-Policy standards for your application.
The WS-Policy specification is a W3C recommendation that describes how Web Services should use XML data to describe their various policies.
These policies can be about anything the developer wants them to be, from security to the quality of service, and they are very helpful for the Web service's consumer because they setup minimum guidelines and usage requirements.
Since Neethi was developed at the Apache Foundation, all other Apache WS projects should be able to use it without any conflicts or special adaptations.
What is new in this release:
- Fixed Bugs:
- Problem in policy intersection caused by error in PolicyIntersector.compatiblePolicies method
- Writing a policy can miss namespace declarations
What is new in version 2.0.5:
- Removed unnecessary repository references from the POM file.
- OSGi manifest should be more usable in OSGi without requiring the
- servicemix wrapper.
- Make sure that Neethi only uses Axiom classes that are part of the public API.
