Apache Ambari is an open source software aimed at making the Apache Hadoop management simpler by building programs for managing, monitoring, and provisioning Apache Hadoop clusters.
Apache Ambari features an easy-to-use and intuitive Apache Hadoop management web-based user interface backed by its RESTful APIs.
At the moment, the Apache Ambari project supports only the 64-bit architecture and the following Linux-based operating systems: RHEL (Redhat Enterprise Linux) 5 and 6, CentOS 5 and 6, OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux) 5 and 6, and SLES (SuSE Linux Enterprise Server) 11.
