Apache Airavata

Apache Airavata is not for the common developer, being geared toward scientists that work with huge computational resources.

Airavata supports large clusters that need to be interconnected and synced so they will be able to handle large data streams and complex computational jobs.

This means anything ranging from local clusters, national grids and up to entire computing cloud systems spawning the whole Globe.

The Airavata package includes a server package, a general purpose GUI, and various client SDKs.

• A key addition in this release is addition of App catalog. The app catalog incorporates registering applications, computational resources and flexible use of job management and data movement protocols.
