VirusTotal is a free web service that analyzes files for viruses and malware against a suite of anti virus systems.

After installing, documentation is available using the perldoc command.

Features:

• Submit and scan a URL.
• Retrieve a URL scan report.
• Retrieve a file scan report.
• Send and scan a file.
• Make comments on files and URLs.
• Timeout value in seconds, the default value is 180.
• OO-interface.
