Not Pacman is a completely free, open source and cross-platform graphical arcade game that offers a Pacman gameplay experience like no other, with physics! It is a revolutionary mashup of the classic Pacman game, where the player can control Pacman simply by rotating the Pacworld cage.
Ghosts still don’t like you
The Pac and the Ghosts are placed in a Pacworld cage where gravity rules. The game can be controlled from multiple sources, including a joystick, a mouse, or a keyboard, solely by you. Also, because of physics, Pacman will move totally realistic. However, be aware that Ghosts still don’t like you and you will have to avoid them, if you can!
Getting started with Not Pacman
The Not Pacman game is written entirely with the powerful LOVE 2D game engine, which must be installed on your personal computer in order to play the game. After installing LOVE from the official sources or via Softoware, download the binary package of the game and save it on your Home directory.
Use an archive manager tool to extract the contents of the archive, open the outputted folder and double click on the not_pacman.love file to start the game. From the main menu, you can directly play the game or access the options screen. You can also view the high score.
From the options screen, the player will be able to change the control scheme for the devices he or she will use to play the game (mouse, keyboard, joystick, wheel steering or wheel direct), as well as to change the volume and the scale.
Runs on Linux, Mac and Windows
