MailChimp is an online newsletter service that can be used for marketing and advertising.
As its name hints, the MailChimp List Subscribe Form plugin makes it easy to add a form to your site, where visitors can enter their name and email address to receive newsletters and other materials.
All the collected data is sent directly to a MailChimp account and to a specific list, all done automatically, without occupying your database with useless subscriber information.
The webmaster can then go to his MailChimp account at any later point to create and send various email notifications to the subscribed users.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
