Fixes:
- Fixed issue that caused Eye-Fi wireless upload to stop functioning if a control other than the movie-record button was used to end filming when movies were being recorded to an Eye-Fi card.
Notice:
- Updating the firmware may reset the camera clock.
- The clock can be set to the correct date and time using the Time zone and date option in the setup menu.
Check Camera Firmware Version:
- Turn the camera on.
- Press the camera MENU button and select Firmware version in the setup menu to display the camera firmware version.
- Check the camera firmware “A” and “B” versions.
- Turn the camera off.
Updating the Camera Firmware:
- Create a folder on the computer hard disk and name it as desired.
- Save the downloadable file to the folder created in Step 1.
- Run it to extract the following file to a folder named “V2Update”: V2_0121.bin (the camera firmware)
- Using a card slot or card reader, copy “V2_0121.bin” to a memory card that has been formatted in the camera.
- Insert the memory card into the camera and turn the it on.
- Select Firmware version in the setup menu and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
- Once the update is complete, turn the camera off and remove the memory card.
- Confirm that the firmware has been updated to the new version.
