2Pass.sh is an open source command-line script specially designed for re-encoding video files using a 2-pass encoding solution, for better quality, on low-end machines.
The script only works with XviD files and the users need to manually set up the desired bitrate. It can be used as a basis to create a more modern and advanced video encoder.
