This imaging tool will ease your efforts of acquiring and enhancing the shots captured with your video capturing device in real time, offering the capabilities to reduce noise, stack and align frames, discard low focus frames, tracking and drifting, capture still or moving images, making it suitable for poor seeing conditions, astrophotography, time lapsed videos, or you can capture images and create videos of your active windows on the computer desktop if necessary. It excels in areas where poor seeing conditions, such as darkness, time lapse requirements or low compression constraints are imposed and make normal video capture with usual tools useless. It gives very good results even when used with low end devices, such as Web cams. Being a real time capture application, it's way of doing things is "what you see is what you get", meaning that whatever your application screen will show to you, will also be saved on disk. After shooting sessions, you can use the captured images as they are or you can process them with a dedicated tool, such as Registax in case of astro captures.

What is new in this release:

• Layer based filters are introduced to take over the image processing routines, thus setting the base for an even more scalable architecture for future releases
• SIMD based code is introduced to optimize processing operations (parallel calculus operations). Currently MMX is supported work is being done to include SSE. SIMD use can be enabled or disabled in realtime
• Performace Counters window are available
• Minor design changes have been performed to ease access to some options
• More filters are available, including the "Double Sided Emboss/High Contrast" filter which gives very good results in combination with progressive stacking in planetary imaging applications
• New setup procedure based in .msi database and compliant to the Windows 7 UAC requirements has been introduced
