Ouibounce watches for when the user's mouse leaves the browser's viewport (the page viewing area) by the top of the page, and shows a modal window when this happens.
The principle behind the library is simple. In all browsers, the tabs and tab close buttons are displayed above the viewport, at the top of the browser. Whenever the mouse leaves the viewport's area by the top section, the library will deduce the user is trying to close the page.
When this happens, Ouibounce can be used to show extra content inside a modal window, as a last-ditch effort in keeping the user on the current page.
The library is not hard-coded to work with specific data, and anything the developer wants can be shown inside the modal window.
A demo is included with the Ouibounce download package.
