jQuery.stickFooter is not a tool for creating "fixed footers" that stay visible at any time, but footer elements that automatically stick to the bottom of any page or container, without the aid of any type of CSS hack.
These types of footers are easy noticeable on pages with less content, where the footer sticks to the bottom of the page, instead of showing in its normal position (right after the page's content - in the middle of the page).
jQuery.stickFooter is nothing more than a beautification plugin, a tool that makes sure that footers appear as they are normally intended instead of accidentally showing up in strange positions just because of some coding quirks.
A sample sticky footer is included with the download package.
