The Inline Confirmation plugin for jQuery allows developers to create an intermediary step for all user-taken actions.
This intermediary step can be used for important controls displayed on page, usually the ones related to delete or save actions, and navigation items.
The principle behind the plugin is pretty straightforward. Instead of triggering the action right after the user's click, Inline Confirmation shows a classic "Are you sure?" like message.
This prevents users from accidentally navigating away from the page, or accidentally removing important edits or content from the page.
The confirmation dialog's message and various UI actions are customizable via the plugin's settings, and a demo is included with the download package to help users get started in building their own confirmation actions.
What is new in this release:
- Use jQuery 1.7+'s on() instead of the old live().
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery
