bTabs lets developers slot text blocks in their own panel and show them one at a time.
This presentation concept is also known as a "tabbed interface", also a tab panel or tab switcher.
These types of components are regularly used online and are utilized in cramming large pieces of text in smaller areas of the screen, letting the user decide what he wants to read or not.
bTabs was coded on top of the jQuery framework and simplifies the process of creating tab panels for Web usage.
Developers can control the place of the page where the tab panel can be inserted, how the component looks (via CSS), and the starting tab that automatically selected on page load.
They can additionally control the fade animation duration when the tabs are switched, and if to use hashtags to adjust the URL based on the selected tag.
A simple bTags demo page is included with the download package.
