Zebra

There is a large number of UI frameworks around these days. Unfortunately, most of them are just copies of one another, or simply follow the same design pattern.

Zebra breaks the mold by using a totally innovative concept for building a rich user interface.

Instead of relying on complex HTML, CSS and JavaScript code structures to render out a simple UI widget that's almost all the time hard to customize and spread across a multitude of files, Zebra uses solely JavaScript syntax to produce and manage the UI widget.

This widget is rendered out as a HTML5 canvas object, which not only makes it scalable, but easy to modify as well.

So basically instead of three languages Zebra uses just one and the final result is not only better looking but easier to manage and maintain as well.

The advantages are in plain sight for everyone to see.

Currently Zebra comes with over 30 UI widgets included out of the box and a very versatile UI and IO engines for easily building new user interface components.

• New UI component tree. Add UI components directly as tree nodes
• Grid cell marker mode support
• Own zebra custom virtual keyboard implementation
• Remove "zebra.ui.Composite" interface, use "catchInput" field as boolean flag to say if component composite or as a method to say it dynamically
• Remove zebra.ui.CopyCutPaste interface. Use "clipCopy", "clipPaste" method to catch clipboard events
• Reorganized tree component
• Tabs setOrientation method added

• Text field performance of cursor position detection has been improved
