Barebones is not an UI or CSS framework in the classic way, but an utility that is more like the HTML5 Boilerplate.

Paul Robert Lloyd's Barebones package is meant to be a basic starting point for future projects that you can deploy right away and start adding the site's content on.

Developers have access to a complete set of basic styles for various Web UI elements, which they can add to their pages and have them automatically styled with a basic look. If they don't like Barebones' style, they can change it later at any point with their own CSS.

Barebones is also much more than just a collection of stylesheets, coming already organized in an efficient and easy to manage structure.

CSS, JavaScript, and various other assets are all organized in their own directories, sparing developers from creating and populating these folders properly, letting them focus on other tasks instead.

The project may not catch your eye like Bootstrap or UIkit, but in our opinion is as useful as those two, especially for developers that work on custom-built, uniquely styled websites.
