Fixes:
This update addresses remaining picture mode display on screen when pushing the picture mode button of the remote controller, Projector inoperative under certain conditions, message for fine adjustment when calling Lens memory.
Projector Software Update
(1) Turn off the projector and wait for it to go into STAND-BY Mode.
(2) Click "Start" on PC →Select "ILA-FPJ X70R" from "ALL programs" This will start the ILA-FPJ Updater.
(3) The software update will start. Please wait until it is finished.
Caution: Do not unplug the cable while the update is in progress.
The STANDBY indicator display lights Orange when starting the update. Then the three LEDs will light up. Close Up LEDs
If a Windows Firewall warning message appears, please select "Unblock".
The first part of the update (Main Firmware) will proceed quickly. The second part of the update (Sub Firmware) will proceed very slowly. The entire update process will take over 10 minutes. Please continue to wait.
(4) The update has been completed. Close the update program.
(5) After updating, remove the power cable from the projector, wait until all lights go out, then reconnect power.

Install this firmware package and projectors can benefit from higher image quality, improved performance and stability, various fixed issues encountered throughout the unit’s lifetime, as well as several other changes.
Still, if you wish to apply this release, it would be best if you first read and understand the installations procedure; also, perform this task using a fully-charged battery or in a steady power environment (such as the one ensured by a UPS unit), and only after you have familiarized yourself with the update steps.
Bear in mind that, while the firmware is upgrading, it isn’t recommended to use the projector’s buttons, or interrupt the process in any way; doing so can cause serious malfunctions to the device and might even render it unusable.
