Ocrad.js

Ocrad.js uses the Emscripten LLVM-to-JavaScript compiler to port C technology to regular JavaScript, technology capable of recognizing text inside images.

This technique is also known as OCR, or Optical Character Recognition, and is a common tool in most scanners.

As for performance, there are still some problems with recognizing text with more reliability, but on the other hand the library is extremely fast.

Ocrad.js can also be used in real-time, meaning that whenever you switch or alter an image, the library won't need to be reinitialized detecting the changes automatically.

A simple demo is included with the download package.
