NUnit

Ported from JUnit, NUnit is entirely written in C#.

The framework has been redesigned to take advantage of many .NET language features and improve the testing process.

NUnit is the closest unit testing framework to the ones found in the xUnit testing package.

What is new in this release:

• When running under .NET 4.5, async methods may now be used as the target of a ThrowsConstraint.
• When running under .NET 4.5, async methods may now be used as an ActualValueDelegate passed to Assert.That() or Assume.That().

What is new in version 2.6.2:

• A number of bug fixes and support for async test methods under .NET 4.5.

What is new in version 2.6:

• There were only a few bug fixes needed on the release candidate to produce the final release of NUnit 2.6.
• NUnit 2.6 is the last feature release of the NUnit 2.x series.
• Further development of new features will continue in NUnit 3.0.

What is new in version 2.6 Beta 3:

• This fixes a few bugs found in the second beta release.
