ROSA Enterprise Desktop, also known as ROSA Desktop LTS is an open source operating system that has been designed from the ground up to provide you with a long term supported edition of the powerful ROSA Desktop Linux distribution. It was created with ROSA ABF, the company’s own built environment that guarantees 5-year long technical support.
ROSA Live DVDs supported for five years
This is the first and only edition of the ROSA Desktop operating system to be supported for five years. It is available for download as Live DVD ISO images that are designed to support both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware platforms.Boot options
As expected, the Live DVDs’ boot menu is a bit different from the one used in the standard ROSA Desktop Fresh editions. It allows the user to start the live environment or perform a fresh installation with default options or in safe graphics mode, rescue a broken system, run a memory test, boot an existing operating system from the first drive or check the integrity of the disc (only if using a DVD media).State-of-the-art KDE Plasma graphical session
Before you can actually use the state-of-the-art KDE Plasma graphical session, you must choose a language, accept a license agreement, select a timezone, set up date and clock, as well as to choose a keyboard layout.The KDE Plasma desktop environment looks and acts like the one from the main ROSA Desktop Fresh edition, providing you with a clean, modern and productive graphical desktop interface comprised of a bottom taskbar.
