RhinoLINUX Cinnamon Edition

RhinoLINUX Cinnamon Edition is a completely free and open source Linux operating system that is based on the main edition of the RhinoLINUX operating distribution and uses the powerful and customizable Cinnamon project as its main desktop environment.

What is RhinoLINUX?

RhinoLINUX is a free Linux operating system that is based on the popular Ubuntu Linux distribution from Canonical and the Linux Mint project. KDE and Xfce editions are also available for download on Softoware.

Build around the Cinnamon desktop environment

As its name suggests, RhinoLINUX Cinnamon Edition is built around the Cinnamon graphical desktop environment, which consists of a single taskbar (panel) located on the upper side of the screen, from where users can interact with running programs, access the Start Menu and launch applications, as well as to interact with essential system functions.

Not ready for prime time

At the moment, the Cinnamon Edition of RhinoLINUX is still in heavy development and it is not ready for prime time. It’s currently distributed only via the Git software repository and an ISO image will be released very soon.
