LibNi is an open source and freely distributed operating system built around the modern and productive KDE Plasma desktop environment, which uses a special layout and a plethora of pre-installed packages.
Available for download as a 32-bit Live DVD
Users can download the LibNi distribution through Softoware or by accessing it’s official website, where it is available for download as a single Live DVD ISO image that accepts only 32-bit applications and runs on both 64-bit and 32-bit hardware platforms. Keep in mind that you must deploy the ISO image to a DVD disc or a USB flash drive of 2GB or higher capacity in order to boot it from the BIOS of a PC.
Boot options
There is no boot menu and there are no boot options on this Linux-based operating system, as it will immediately load the live environment and start the graphical desktop interface, a process that will take approximately 10 seconds.

As mentioned, the distribution’s main design goal is to promote the KDE Plasma desktop environment, which comprises of a taskbar located on the upper part of the screen from where the user can access the main menu, launch applications, as well as to interact with system tray functions and running programs.
Default applications
Default applications includes the LibreOffice office suite, 7-Zip archive manager, RAR archive manager, Angry Birds online game, as well as a bunch of KDE-specific applications, among which we can mention the Konqueror web browser, KMail email client, and Dolphin file manager.
