KaeilOS (Koan Advanced Embedded Industrial Linux Operating System) is an open source Linux operating system specifically designed as an embedded Linux GNU/GPL distribution.
KaeilOS comprised a collection of some of the best publicly available open source packages. Since version 4.0, which was released on January 2009, KaeilOS has joined the OpenEmbedded project, offering a wider selection of recipes and packages.
KaeilOS is not your regular Linux distribution, and it is not distributed as an ISO image. Instead, KaeilOS is available for download and installation as custom layer integrated into the Yocto Project.
