Carousel-3d is a jQuery-based reincarnation of the old Flash 3D carousels that once ruled the Web design landscape.
The plugin works via the new 3D features in CSS3, and works correctly on a wide range of platforms, including mobile browsers.
Developers can use it with images and HTML content alike, Carousel-3D organizing content inside so-called "panels" which it rotates and tilts in various ways based on a predefined configuration.
Parameters exist with the Carousel-3D code which allow developers to tweak how the panels align and how they rotate, enabling programmers to create the carousel they like and avoid using the same layout over and over again.
Multiple carousels can be embedded on the same page, next/previous navigation arrows can be shown, and the carousel can also be skipped to a particular panel if needed.
