tXtFL

tXtFL (also known as teXt Football League) is an open source and cross-platform graphical software written in the Java programming language and designed to act as a team-building , play-by-play football simulator game.

The game is designed in such a way that it does not require 3D or 2D accelerated graphics cards, as a graphical user interface allows coaching from the command-line while viewing game and player statistics.

Users can create their team, pick their players, and make the play calls. The project is available on the Linux, Android, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

• This maintenance release provides updates for the 2010 football season as well as fixes for head-to-head play over the network and overtime scoring.

• The graphical interface was completely overhauled.
• Player and team creation from real stats has been simplified to one step.
• A built-in browser displays the redesigned game guide.
