PHP Search Engine

PHP Search Engine is not an actual search engine technology like Lucene or ElasticSearch, not indexing any kind of data in a database or local index.

It merely allows users to search for data in a file structure, by sequentially crawling each resource with each search query.

When the search finishes, all results are then listed vertically on a Web page, just like Google's classic layout.

Configuration options are available, allowing webmasters to exclude certain file types and local resources (via robots.txt) from the search pool.

What is new in this release:

• When creating an entry by the administrator any date and time can be specified.
• A Dutch language file was added.
• In the settings page numbering can be reversed.
• Several minor changes to the smiley recognition in text and URLs.
