All-in-one freeware for acid-base equilibria learning and practicing in high school, college, research or quality control laboratory, by:
a) calculating the pH and buffer capacity of any aqueous solution of acids and bases (strong, weak or polyprotic), salts and complex mixtures;
b) plotting the distribution of species (dissociated/undissociated fractions) and buffer capacity of acids and bases as a function of pH and volume of titrant;
c) simulating any acid-base titration curve (pH versus volume of titrant); and
d) determining concentrations and pKas from potentiometric titration data (simulated or real, like amino acids, vinegar or acid rain) by graphical derivative methods with interpolation, smoothing and automatic enpoint detection or by advanced nonlinear regression analysis.

Simply open the downloaded curtipot_.xls file in Excel with macros enabled and use any or all of the spreadsheets named pH_calc, Distribution, Evaluation, Regression, Graphs and Database, with instructions, help and default examples.

What is new in this release:

Version 3.5.4 adds alerts for cases of pH calculation with lesser accuracy; Mean (average) charge calculations and curves vs. pH with detection of isoelectric point (pI or IEP).
