Tempita

Tempita features a very simple syntax, which makes it very user-friendly and can be used even by programmers starting up with Python.

It allows developers to setup basic conditions and triggers, based on which text is inserted in the template's tags.

Templita is more of a text replacement engine more than an actual template system, providing a quick way for inserting Python code inside an application or website.

Because of this limited feature set, it is recommended to use Tempita for smaller projects, while for more complex applications, use a full-on template engine.

Templita works with both branches of the Python language, the 3.x and the 2.x series.

What is new in this release:

• Python 3 compatible.
• Fixed bug where file-relative filenames wouldn't work well.
• Fixed the stripping of empty lines.
