By default, all Django applications come with a backend panel, a dashboard only accessible to admins, since the data presented there is quite sensitive.

For the frontend section of the Django site/app there's no user dashboard utility, unless you're willing to code it yourself.

The django-responsive-dashboard module adds such a functionality, so Django regular user will be able to access a dashboard, customize visible widgets and have access to a quick set of controls, news, stats and data reviews.
