The kalendar plugin can work with events passed via a JavaScript object, or it can be integrated with a Google Calendar account.
For each event, the plugin allows the developer to set a start and end date & time, an event title, location info, a background color for highlighting it in the calendar view, and an URL for viewing more details.
Events can last more than one day and the developer can also set the first day of the week (Monday or Sunday).
By default kalendar will show the current month when loading (this can be overwritten), but users can navigate back and forward to see past and upcoming events.
When the user clicks on a day with events the calendar display gets hidden and replaced with a list of events for that specific day.
A kalendar demo is included with the plugin's package.
