eHash Lite for Windows 8

eHash Lite - Quickly compute the hash of a file (or string), and easily compare it with a copy-pasted reference hash. Algorithms supported: MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384,and SHA512. eHash Lite has very good performance characteristics and makes use of the underlying OS file caching capabilities when reading files. It also caches (remembers) already computed hash values per file and algorithm combination (during one runtime session). In other words, the app will not automatically recompute the hash, but it will instantly display it, if it was already computed (since the app startup) for the file and specified algorithm. And if necessary, the user can compute the cached hash value again by tapping or clicking the Recompute button.
