The program instantly creates varied and high quality slideshows. In addition to photos and videos also texts and background music can be integrated as well. Predefined styles allow a completely new look of the presentation by only one click. The powerful storyboard with integrated quicksort view also allows quick and creative editing of even large shows. In addition to the automatic running, the slideshow may also easily be controlled by the keyboard or a (wireless) mouse. The volume of the background music in videos and breaks can be lowered automatically.
In addition to the main advantage of an easy use, a very high quality slideshow playback and a very high working speed are obtained by eliminating all the rendering, since no recompression of the data is needed (all original files are kept without any change). The automatic adjustment to different screen formats and built-in automatic and random functions ensure the immediate creation of even the largest slideshows.
DSS works as live presentation software, but can also export all included files and texts in 16:9 (4:3) format, so that eg with Windows Movie Maker, if necessary, even a video can be produced very simply.
The current version is provided as freeware up to the appearance of a Windows 8 compatible version.
