SVN-Notify

The content of the sent email can be modified, as long with applying a filter on what changes trigger the mail function.

SVN-Notify can work with SourceForge SVN servers, as well with HTML formatted mails.

An additional option allows diffs to be calculated for the changes and either appended to the message or added as an attachment.

To use SVN::Notify, simply add a call to svnnotify to the Subversion repository's post-commit script. This script lives in the hooks directory at the root of the repository directory; consult the documentation in post-commit.tmpl for details.

What is new in this release:

• Added the `smtp_port` parameter and accompanying `--smtp-port` option.
• Switched from Net::SMTP and Net::SMTP_auth to Net::SMTP::TLS, which handles TLS and non TLS and auth and non-auth in any combintation.
• Added `--smtp-tls` option to enable TLS.
• Deprecated `--smtp-authtype`, which is now a no-op. Net::SMTP::TLS determins the auth type to use by asking the SMTP server.

What is new in version 2.80:

• Fixed the regular expression for detecting JIRA keys.
• Fixed test failure on Perl 5.11.2.
• Switched to improved URL links with link text in the documentation.
