UltraTorrent is a free torrent search and download tool that works with a dozen different search engines and manages downloads in a very simple way.
When using UltraTorrent, you'll be searching popular torrent sites such as Isohunt or Mininova. Results are displayed in a neatly organized table, and can be sorted by different parameters: name, size and seeds - so you can always choose the best option. Double clicking any of these files will immediately launch the downloader in UltraTorrent.
Currently active downloads in UltraTorrent are displayed under the Downloads tab, where you can organize them according to several different filters. If you select a file, you can see detailed information about it in the three panels at the bottom of the interface: General, Trackers and Files.
UltraTorrent is really simple to use and also very light on resources. It works with the most popular torrent search engines, provides quick results, and includes a built-in downloader that does what it is supposed to. With such a collection of handy features, you can just about forgive the fact that the program doesn't really have any extended configuration options.
