YAJET is framework agnostic, but also comes with a special version for usage with jQuery projects.
The way YAJET works is to read the templates and then to compile them into JavaScript code. This code can then be run inside the browser and then pull in the actual content from other sources.
Currently the engine can run on the client-side (in the browser), or with V8 or Rhino in server-side environments.
YAJET features a clean syntax, blazing fast execution and compilation speed, and generates standards-compliant JavaScript code.
It also comes with support for filters, built-in directives, reusable template sections, and extensions for extra features.
Packed with the library is also extensive documentation, for both the standalone and jQuery versions.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
