melchior.js (or MelchiorJS) implements the Chainable Module Definition API, or JavaScript CMD, an evolution of the classic JavaScript AMD (Asynchronous Module Definition) API.
The library basically provides a simple way of configuring dependencies for a JavaScript project, dependencies which can then be loaded at runtime in various conditions.
melchior.js is quite easy to use if you previously worked with JavaScript, and especially with RequireJS, project with which it shares many traits.
Besides loading JS plugins and libraries, melchior.js also comes with support for custom JavaScript modules, letting developers organize their code in smaller pieces and then feeding you those small items when needed in your code, without having to load them unnecessarily if not needed.
melchior.js is fully capable of working inside the browser, doesn't need Node.js, and all loaded modules are fetched via AJAX.
Usage instructions are provided with the package's README file.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
