JSON is a light-weight, language independent, data interchange format.

JSONP stands for "JSON with padding," and is a complement to the base JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) data format allowing a page to request data from a server in a different domain.

The jsonp.js library helps you add JSONP support to your Web app, allowing it to make JSONP requests.

Support for customizing the callback name used to receive JSON data responses is included, along with the interval which needs to pass by before requests are considered as timed out.
