WP Club Manager

WP Club Manager is a fantastic tool to have around if you're the webmaster of a sports-related website.

This plugin provides a beautiful and intuitive interface for adding details about one or more teams, manage the team's roster, its staff, add details about the league it's in, add a standings table, manage information about sponsors, and of course, last but not least, record match and score details.

The plugin can be used to show past, current, and upcoming games, provide various details about them, automatically compute statistics, and present the data in the front-end in an easy to digest manner.

Shortcodes, sidebar widgets, and special editor buttons are provided to embed this data in posts and pages.

All in all, WP Club Manager can be used for a wide variety of sports, even some not officially supported by the plugin, or some not officially considered as sports.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
