This is the WordPress version of the PerfBar JavaScript library.
The PerfBar WordPress plugin works just like the original version, showing a toolbar on the site's frontend where users can see various statistics and performance metrics about their site.
This toolbar shows up minimized by default and can be deactivated for site visitors and shown only to logged in users.
This feature is useful for production sites where you'd like only the admin to view it while debugging or improving the site's code.
PerfBar also comes with a WordPress dashboard page where metrics budgeting can be carried out, allowing admins to control the thresholds of each metric in part, adjusting what's considered optimal, normal, and over the top values.
Metrics can also be turned on or off individually, allowing admins to view only what's important to them and not have to look for the values through a large table of data.
