PDFUtils

Since ColdFusion and the PDF file standard are managed by the same company (Adobe), ColdFusion natively supports lots of PDF processing operations.

The PDFUtils CFC adds some extra methods to ColdFusion's core, just as a bonus for any developer that deals with PDFs on a daily basis.

Supported extra methods include:

- getExtraInfo - a method for getting extra meta information about a PDF
- GetText - a method for parsing and extracting the text inside a PDF
- GetPage - a method for fetching an entire page from inside a PDF
- readXMP - a method for parsing a PDF's XMP data
- writeXMP - a method to write XMP data inside a PDF
