The module only grabs the text from the ODF file, ignoring any other formatting or style rules.
ODF Import can be really helpful for migrating content from local, remote, or Web-hosted ODF documentas, easily populating a site with new articles and news stories acquired from the file's content.
It can also be an intermediary way to import content from other file types, if they have been converted to ODF as an intermediary step.
Installation:
Login the Drupal administration panel.
Go to Modules section.
Upload the module or copy&paste the module download URL.
Find and activate the module after installation in the modules list.
