My Mapped Locations may not be the most visually appealing plugin for adding Google-based maps to a WordPress site, but it's certainly one of the most easiest to use.
While other plugins use complicated structures, My Mapped Locations can easily add maps and for each map, add locations that will be shown as markers on that specific map.
Then, using a special button added to the WordPress WYSIWYG editor, they can embed the map of their choice to any of the pages and blog articles.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
