Asgard Security can be installed like any other WP plugin and used by going to the WordPress administration panel, in a special section called "ASGARD" at the bottom of the side menu.
Here the webmaster can trigger a security check and have the site's files checked against a cloud-based scanner for various problems like:
- backdoors
- trojan infections
- code-eval injections
- encrypted iframes
- encrypted links
Asgard Security will check not only native WP files, but also the ones installed via custom themes and plugins, making sure there are no vulnerabilities in both the native WP code and the one you add later on.
If any infections are detected, the plugin can help webmasters fix it using a "one-click" solution that removes the problematic files.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
Requirements:
- WordPress 3.2 or higher
