In its first version the A Year Before plugin displayed posts that were written exactly one year before.
With these most recent versions the plugin has diversified and now allows editors to enter a custom period of time for which to scan and pull content from.
Besides blog posts, the plugin can also pull static pages as well.
For blogs with a large daily output, the editor can limit the amount of articles titles to retrieve and display.
The A Year Before plugin also comes in the form of a WordPress-specific PHP template tag as well, in case developers want to use its output without the widget GUI inside their themes and plugins.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
