Asset reader facilitates the purpose of viewing all the images, videos, audios present in the windows 8 libraries in one shot. When the application is launched, user will be shown with three categories (Image Library, Video Library and Audio Library) under which all the elements within the category are displayed as thumbnails (images, videos and audios). The landing page displays only 9 elements from each category. If there is no content present in the libraries then user will be displayed with some contents of each category which is read from the application path. If the user wishes to see all the contents of the a particular category he needs to click on Header of each category(Image Library, Video Library and Audio Library), then the user will be displayed with all the elements present in the category in a detail view .User can select an individual item from the detail view and can have a close look at the element ,where there is also an option provided to the user to look at the other element in the category by selecting different elements within the list. In case of audio and video user can play and listen to the song within the corresponding category. All the media related options are provided in the bottom app bar like play, pause and stop .
