Proximity marketing software for WinXP, Vista and Win7. To perform proximity marketing a Bluetooth enabled PC that broadcasts advertising content is required. Only devices with OPP profile are detected. The mobile device prompts the user to confirm receiving the content. Once the user confirms it the program starts transmitting the content to the mobile device. As you can see the system is permission based. The content is not transferred to the mobile device if the mobile's owner does not want to receive it. Transfer of the files goes wireless and without any cost. The program has a sophisticated user interface that lets you schedule your campaigns easily. Configure daily, weekly or monthly schedules or send the campaign always if you like. The software shows you how much messages reached the user or failed. It identifies most of the mobile phone's manufacturers. The software works on small footprint PCs and is easy to install.
The program does not create registry entries. The program is very polite which means it does not send to devices that keep in the proximity. The program assumes devices that keep in the proximity belong to neighbors and not to customers. A handbook in PDF format is also free to download. You are free to choose the dongle as long as it is supported by Microsoft Bluetooth stack. The software does not store customer data. It just keeps an encrypted part of the device's address in memory. This memory can remember devices up to a period of 31 days. After this period has been expired blue2b sends again a message to devices that were just removed from memory if they come into the proximity.
