PgwBrowser was created to help developers in creating applications that behave different based on the user's local platform.
The plugin employs the classic user-agent string parsing technique, extracting various details and making them available for triggering custom functions in the developer's code at later points.
PgwBrowser can currently detect details like the browser name, group, and version number, viewport height, width, and orientation, and OS name, group, and version number.
Besides jQuery, the plugin can also work with Zepto.js as well.
What is new in this release:
- Added jQuery manifest file.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery 1 or higher
