jQuery Diamonds lets developers control the diamond size and the gap between the diamond shapes.
On top of that, the plugin can also hide incomplete rows and automatically reshuffle when the page is resized.
The plugin is a very beautiful alternative to classic grid displays where the images are blandly dumped on the page using table-like layouts, allowing the developer to neatly fit elements together in an unique page layout.
Since hover effects work properly over the grid elements, jQuery Diamonds is especially ideal for using with image gallery layouts.
A demo is included with the download package.
