CIL

CIL (C Intermediate Language) is an open source command-line software designed to act as a interface to the C programming language, facilitating program transformation and analysis.

CIL is able to typecheck and parse a program, as well as to compile it into a simplified subset of C. It supports ANSI C and the extensions of Microsoft C compilers and GNU C.

What is new in this release:

• This version fixes installation of the CIL library.
• It fixes machine-independent flags in cilly (eg. -fPIC).

What is new in version 1.7.2:

• Building and installation of the CIL library was fixed.

What is new in version 1.7.1:

• This version improves the build system and installation (available as an opam package).

What is new in version 1.6.0:

• New features: support for static local variables and GCC's "computed gotos" (or "labels as values").
• Various bugfixes.
